On Sept. 3, 2003, owner Sheila Davisson opened the doors to Revival, offering a women's boutique where style trumps fashion; a place for customers to hone their own personal expression no matter the budget.

Recently returned from several years in New York working in fashion wholesale and PR, Davisson, an Iowa City native, realized a life-long dream of owning her own store with the launch of Revival. The store's eclectic inventory of new boutique brands, resale items, vintage finds with a modern aesthetic, and locally-made clothing and accessories was a breath of fresh air for shoppers.

In the years since, Revival has grown out it's initial space at 116 S. Linn and into the current location in historic Downtown's Pedestrian Mall, doubled its size, and become an Iowa City retail institution. Remaining loyal to the original sales model, Revival continues to cultivate a selected offering of new clothes and accessories from brands such as Many Belles Down, Nick&Mo, and Alternative Apparel; handmade and locally sourced jewelry and gifts, and vintage and resale items from a fashion's best eras.
