(VIDEO) Meet Jesse James the Cat, Still Going Strong After Being Hit by Car.

Each week we feature an animal at the Iowa City Animal Shelter who needs a new home. This week meet Jesse James, a young cat that was found injured and has bounced back to good health.

Chad Mason, animal services assistant at the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to Jesse James, a three-year-old cat that has reached full health after surviving a collision with a car.

Mason says despite Jesse James' tough background, he couldn't be calmer. He says he's the sort of cat that loves to be around people without wailing in dispair when they leave on vacation. This calm disposition would make him a good fit for several different households.
