VIDEO: Meet Boeing, Patch.com's Adopt this Pet of the Week (Adopted)
Every Saturday, Patch.com will feature an animal from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Shelter that is in need of a good home. In this week's installment, meet Boeing, a people pleasing canine.
Liz Ford, Animal Care Technician, introduces us to Boeing. Ford says Boeing will be a little timid around other dogs or small children, but that he is a gentle dog and a lover of people who has bonded with the volunteers at the shelter.

Boeing loves to have belly rubs, but he is very sensitive about being held or hugged (as if for a veterinarian's exam or nail trim) and he gets very scared. Adopters will need to work on helping him feel more comfortable for vet visits.
