VIDEO: Meet Avery and Milo, Iowa City Patch's Adopt These Pets of the Week (Adopted)
Every Saturday, Patch.com will feature an animal from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Shelter that is in need of a good home. In this week's installment, meet Avery and Milo, two puppy brothers who are already people friendly and ready to learn.
Ewan Hamilton, kennel assistant at the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to Milo and Avery, two mix-breed puppy brothers. Hamilton said these puppies have just recently arrived at the shelter, and even with a lack of training they have showed good social and potty training skills and a love of play. Hamilton said that unlike a lot of dogs, these two would fit in well with almost any family, even with cats, and with a little love and patience have the potential to be great adult dogs.
