VIDEO: Meet Emilina, Patch.com's Adopt this Pet of the Week. (ADOPTED)

Every Saturday, Patch.com will feature an animal from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Shelter that is in need of a good home. In this week's installment, meet Emilina, a mellow grey tab with a spring in her step.

Liz Ford, animal care technician as the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to Emilina, a grey tabby that is fairly mellow for being a one-year-old cat. Ford said Emilina would be a perfect match for someone who wants a lap cat that also has enough energy to play.

For more information on adopting Emilina, you can call the Animal Shelter at: (319) 356-5295. Or visit the shelter at 4852 Sand Rd SE.
