Two day event culminates in fantastic race finishes in downtown Iowa City
These images from the 2012 Chris Lillig Memorial Cup Day 2 races held in downtown Iowa City, May 6th, 2012. The races consisted of a Road Races of the Old Capitol Criterium, encircling the Pentacrest with distances ranging from 10 to 40 laps. Individual winners from varying levels of qualifying ability, genders and ages competed in individual races for medals, prize money, and points toward the two day event's championship trophy, the Chris Lillig Memorial Cup. The Old Capitol Criterium celebrated its 35th year in downtown Iowa City.
