West High's Caroline Found Laid to Rest

The funeral of West High student Caroline Found, who was killed last week in a , was held Tuesday. I wanted to highlight some of the nice coverage given to the funeral and memorial service by local media.

Just a fraction of those came to her funeral service Tuesday at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, and yet the church was overflowing into the foyer and assorted rooms. The nearby parking lot at the University Club was full 45 minutes before the service began, and Finkbine Golf Course had only a handful of spots left. The lines at Monday's visitation at West High were three hours long.

Head Coach Kathy Bresnahan said Found was a leader who will be greatly missed throughout the community.

“Everybody loved her,” said Bresnahan.  “She wouldn’t step on an ant.  She was the kind of person that was going to befriend everybody and probably the most quality person you could ever meet.”
