Iowa City School District Now Closed Today, Iowa City Regina Closed As Well. More Iowa City Closings and Cancellations as they Happen.

We'll have a running list going of cancellations and closings in the Iowa City area due to today's Iowa City storm.


Update 9:50 a.m.: 

Rep. Dave Loebsack canceled his visit to City High to discuss school safety. His invitation only roundtable at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will continue as scheduled.

Update 8:00 a.m.: Iowa City Regina now has changed to closed as well, according to the KWWL closings list.

The Crisis Center of Johnson County has sent out a release that they are closed today.

Agudas Achim will be offering no Hebrew Classes today.

Update 7:30 a.m.: 

Willowwind School reports they are closed for today on their Facebook page.

Update 7:10 a.m.: Headfake! Iowa City School District has now decided to cancel classes today.

Northwest Junior High Principal Gregg Shoultz says that the district will make up the snow day on Feb. 25. So basically Iowa city students are just shifting a day off from next month to this month.

Sleep in, students of Iowa City.

Iowa City School District currently has announced it will have a two-hour delay in response to today's winter storm, via the district's Facebook page.

Iowa City Regina School District also has a two-hour delay. (via KWWL cancellations list.)

Now classes for Kirkwood Community School students until 5:00 p.m., with decisions pending on night classes.
