Iowa City High Schools Celebrate Graduations this Memorial Weekend [Storify]

Iowa City City High, Iowa City West High, and Iowa City Regina all are celebrating high school graduations this weekend. Congrats to the graduates!

Announce it on Patch!

Whether your grad is a high school senior or a preschooler, posting a graduation announcement onPatch is free and easy. Don't forget to let us know: where they go to school, when they graduate and where they're going next. And always include a photo!

Post a free graduation announcement on Patch by following these easy steps:

First, log onto Patch so we know you're not a robot. Then, go to our Announcements page, and on the top right-hand corner, click "Add an Announcement." 

Fill out the box and choose Graduation as the category. Add photos and/or video of your graduate to make it really special. Scroll to the bottom and click "Post my announcement." Send the link to all your friends and family so they can share in your proud moment. 

Share your photos.

Everyone wants to see a photo of your smiling graduate wearing his or her mortar board and gown, so share it with Patch! Or, maybe there's a family member who can't make it to the graduation ceremony? Post a photo of your grad walking across the stage or throwing a hat in the air! Here's how:

Just go to our Pics & Clips gallery to upload a photo. Click on the button that says "Upload Photos and Videos" to upload.

Invite friends to the party!

How are you celebrating your graduate? If your group is having pizza party, lock in or other party to celebrate getting their degree, post details of the event on our community calendar so friends and neighbors can join in the fun!

Just log on to our community calendar and click on the "Add an event" button in the right corner. Fill out a title, date, time, place and some details. Don't forget to add the location! Then hit 'Submit' for your event to go live!
