Iowa Politics captures video of GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann prior to the Iowa-Iowa State game in Ames on Saturday.

An Iowa Politics YouTube video captures GOP presidential hopeful and Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann taking a few questions from reporters before the Iowa-Iowa State football game on Saturday in Ames.

"There's only one candidate that has won anything in this race, and it is me," Bachmann said in the video from outside Jack Trice Stadium.

Of course, Bachmann is referring to her victory in the a month ago. But, since then Bachmann has fallen back.

In the video, Bachmann deflects questions about her diminishing standing compared to other candidates, such as Mitt Romney and Rick Perry, saying she is not a second-tier candidate. Bachmann also defends against criticism that she hasn't been available to voters.

"We've been in Iowa 70 days, and what we've been known for is our time with people and talking with people and that is why we are here today," Bachmann says.

Bachmann got into the spirit of the day wearing a specially-made Hawkeye-Cyclone combo jersey and flipped burgers during tailgating.

"Who are you rooting for?" one person asked Bachmann in the video.

"I love everybody," Bachmann responded. "I am here for both. The Hawkeyes and the Cyclones, I love them both."

An Iowa Politics story by Hannah Hess describes the scene where Bachmann "rubbed shoulders with a rowdy crowd of beer-toting tailgaters."

On Saturday, Bachmann autographed footballs and nuzzled babies' cheeks amidst an estimated 80,000 sports fans who turned out to watch the rivals compete. She sported a custom-made jersey, No. 12, that incorporated the logos of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State University Cyclones and boasted to fans of both stripes that it was an "I-love-everybody" look.
