There you can go meet an interesting assortment of characters including: Sandra Fluke, who gained national notoriety for not being allowed to testify during a men's only congressional hearing on health care funding for birth control and subsequent lowbrow remarks by Rush Limbaugh; Tate Donovan, an actor known for his roles on television shows such as "Damages" and "Friends" and for his voicing Hercules in a Disney animated feature movie; and former Lt. Gov. Patty Judge, who served in the role during the Chet Culver administration.

U.S. Rep. Dave Loebsack, incumbent Democrat running for re-election in the new Iowa second congressional district, will also be in attendance.

The bus tour's goal, according to the release, is to encourage early voting and to make sure that prospective voters are registered to vote.
