Iowa Democrats clash with Bachmann over debt limit
Michele Bachmann launched a new commercial in Iowa this week.
U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and Iowa Democratic Party Chairwoman Sue Dvorsky clashed on Thursday over raising the federal government’s debt ceiling.
Bachmann's new Iowa campaign commercial bashes the prospect of increasing the U.S. government’s debt limit. Dvorsky issued a statement saying Bachmann is attempting to "play politics with our national economy.”
