U.S. Bank Offers $10,000 Reward for info about Mormon Trek Robbery

The Mormon Trek Boulevard branch of U.S. Bank was robbed on Nov. 18. With police already offering a $1,000 reward for info on the culprit, the bank has added an additional amount for information about the robber.

Iowa City Police are still looking for the individual on Friday, Nov. 18.

Now, U.S. Bank is offering a $10,000 reward as incentive for informants to come forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals involved with the crime. According to a news release, reward amounts are based on the "quality and relevance of the information provided that aid in the successful prosecution of the suspects."

This is in addition to the $1,000 already being offered for information by Iowa City CrimeStoppers. Anyone with information about this crime should contact CrimeStoppers at 358-TIPS (8477).

The robber wore all black and obscured his face, but is being described as being a male of unknown race, five foot, nine inches in height and weighing a little less than 200 hundred pounds, according to the release.

Police are asking anyone with information related to the armed robbery to call them at 319-356-5275.
