Saturday Football Arrests: Iowa-Central Michigan Game Has 42 Arrests

Iowa Hawkeyes played Central Michigan Chippewas at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City on Saturday.

The following individuals were arrested during football game day operations:

Murphy, Elizabeth Ann, 18 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at 609 Melrose at 0947 hours. Murphy was sitting in a parking lot drive with a friend standing over her. Murphy had extremely slurred speech & had poor balance. Murphy blew .270 PBT.

Whipple, Vincent Cody, 19 of Eagle Grove, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1044 hours. Whipple presented a student ID that was not his. Whipple was asked to leave on several occasions, but did not do so. Whipple had slurred speech & unsteady balance. Whipple refused PBT.

McGaffic, Jason Crawford, 29 of Hiawatha, IA for Public Intox at 609 Melrose Ave at 1053 hours. McGaffic was carrying an open can of Coors Light & tried to hide the can & then threw it in the trash can. McGaffic had slurred speech & blew .170 PBT.

Eischeid, Jeb David, 19 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1143 hours. Eischeid had extremely poor balance & smelled heavily of alcohol. Eischeid refused PBT.                          

Nash, Jeremy Andrew, 20 of Naperville, IL for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1200 hours. Nash was almost falling over while leaning against a wall. Nash blew .170 PBT

Lewis, Cody James, 21 of Cedar Rapids, IA for Trespass at Kinnick Stadium at 1244 hours. Lewis was ejected from Kinnick for smoking. Lewis returned less than five minutes later & was encountered by the same officers who had ejected him.

Miller, Cory John, 34 of Waterloo, IA for Public Intox at Dental Lot at 1332 hours. Miller was urinating between two parked cars. Miller had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. Miller had cuts on his hand & knee from falling down. Miller blew .150 PBT.

Gaeta, Luis, 52 of Moline, IL for OWI at the vehicle safety checkpoint.

Steffen, Edward, 25 of Gilbertville, IA for OWI at the vehicle safety checkpoint.
