Iowa City Police Searching for Two Suspects in Car Theft, Probation Violation

The two men allegedly stayed at a female acquaintance's place for the evening and when she awoke they and the car were gone.


Note: Mack Blumingburg has been in the news multiple times for a variety of thefts, while Roland was allegedly involvedly in an ATM scam, among other offenses.

On Thursday, June 26th, at approximately 9:30am, Iowa City Police responded to 1122 N Dubuque St. reference a report of a stolen vehicle.

The 20 year old female victim reported that she had allowed an acquaintance and his friend to stay at her apartment overnight and when she awoke she discovered that the two subjects and her car were gone. 

The vehicle, a 2006 blue Nissan Altima 4 door, with Iowa license plate 292MPF, is believed to have been taken by Keethan Re'Shaun Roland, 21 years old, 5'9", 160 lbs. and Mack Delonnie Blumingburg, 21 years old, 6', 160 lbs.

Both Roland and Blumingburg are wanted on warrants previously issued by the Iowa Department of Corrections for Probation Violation and Absence from Custody. Charges are pending reference the theft of the vehicle.

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up $1000 for information leading to the arrest of these suspects. Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 319-358-TIPS (8477). All calls are held in strict confidence and anonymity is guaranteed. Individuals providing information do not have to reveal their identity to collect a reward.
