Iowa City Police Offer Reward for Information Leading to Capture of Wanted Man

The man, last known to be living in the Iowa City and North Liberty area, is suspected on several burglary charges.


Iowa City is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a local man named Anthony Terrell Shields, who has outstanding warrants on burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and is suspected of involvement with several additional area burglaries.

Shields, 46, has no known address, but was most recently living in the Iowa City and North Liberty area. He is an African American male, 5'6" and weighing approximately 150 pounds.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of Shields. Anyone with information about Shields is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 358-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential, and the caller's identity does not need to be revealed to collect the reward.
