Iowa City Police Blotter: June 14
The following arrest information was supplied by the Iowa City Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Old Offenses:
Antonio Alrebo-Alcafago Jackson, 46, of 2020 Western Road, was charged with animal neglect, a simple misdemeanor, for an offense that allegedly occurred on Nov. 12, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Police say they were alerted to a pit bull and seven puppies being kept in the bed of a truck with inadequate water, shelter and sanitary conditions at 2104 Davis Street. The officer who arrived noted that there was urine and feces in the bed of the truck that the dogs were forced to stand in, and that the mother dog was very thin.
