UI Police issued the following number of citations

Possession of Alcohol Under the Legal Age (PAULA) Citations:  1
Public Urination Citations: 3
Open Container in Public Citations:  36
Public Consumption of Liquor:  0

Five people were transported to the Johnson County Jail. The following individuals were arrested during football game day operations:

Gallagher, Laura Lynn, 32 of Bellevue, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick at 10:35 a.m. Gallagher had slurred speech and smelled of an alcoholic beverage. Gallagher admitted drinking and blew a .083 blood-alcohol content.

Lovejoy, Andrew Douglas, 18 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick at 9:30 a.m. Lovejoy was unstable on foot and had bloodshot, watery eyes. Lovejoy smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking shots of alcohol.

Anderson, Blain Christopher, 29 of Midland, MI for Public Intox at Kinnick at 11:10 a.m. Anderson was attempting to enter Kinnick, but he was very unsteady on his feet and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. Anderson admitted drinking and blew a .321 blood-alcohol content.

Oberbroeckling, Douglas John, 19 of Luxemburg, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick at 11:31 a.m. Oberbroeckling was bumping into people and fell down. Oberbroeckling admitted drinking and blew .266 blood-alcohol content.

Trzcinski, Jason Albert, 26 of Midland, MI for Public Intox at Kinnick at 11:24 a.m. Officer received a complaint that Trzcinski was disrupting fans. Trzcinski had poor balance & smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage. Trzcinski blew .254 blood-alcohol content.

McGrath, Griffin Michael, 23 of Cedar Rapids, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick at 12:38 p.m.. McGrath was forcing his way into an elevator at Gate F and then ran from security. McGrath admitted drinking and blew .272 blood-alcohol content.

Langin, Nicole Elise, 24 of Sioux Falls, SD for Public Intox at Kinnick at 11:51 a.m. Langin was being held up by friends. Langin had slurred speech and smelled of ingested alcohol. Langin blew .204 blood-alcohol content.

Jurca, John Michael, 27 of Coralville, IA for Public Intox and Public Urination at Kinnick at 12:14 p.m. Jurca was observed urinating in the north concourse. Jurca had unstable balance and admitted drinking. Jurca had a thermos of vodka on his person and admitted drinking. Jurca blew .109 blood-alcohol content.

Frederking, Alexander Clifton, 18 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick at 11:24 a.m. Frederking was staggering in the parking lot. Frederking had a very strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. Frederking had slurred speech and didn’t know where he was. Frederking blew .230 blood-alcohol content.

DeLuca, Kevin Christopher, 20 of Iowa City, IA for Trespass at Kinnick at 2:13 p.m. hours. DeLuca jumped down from the stands at the end of the game right in front of an officer.

Sorbe, Nicolas Mark, 26 of Cedar Falls, IA for Trespass at Kinnick at 2:22 p.m. hours. Sorbe rushed the field. Sorbe was not authorized to be on the field. Sorbe said it was a “big win” and he had rushed the field before.

Schuchmann, Michael Paul, 38 of Waterloo, IA for Trespass at Kinnick at 2:15 p.m. Schuchamnn was observed exiting the stands and running onto the field. Schuchmann then jumped behind the coaches on camera.

Munger, Troy Gene, 41 of Cedar Rapids, IA for Public Intox at Lot 40 at 5:06 p.m.
