He Really Wanted into that Press Box: Gameday Arrests for West Michigan versus University of Iowa

Arrests related to Saturday's showdown in Kinnick.

Public Urination Citations: 0   
Open Container in Public Citations: 4 
Public Consumption of Liquor: 0

Four arrestees were transported to the Johnson County jail.

The following individuals were arrested during football game day operations:

Hamell, Travis John, 35 of Des Moines, IA for Public Intox and Interference with Official Acts at Kinnick Stadium at 1144 hours. Hamell was causing a disturbance in the stands. Hamell was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. Hamell pulled away from officers and refused to identify himself. Hamell refused PBT.

Reed, Heath Eugene, 40 of Davenport, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1304 hours. Reed was passed out in his seat and was called in by bystanders. Reed had slurred speech and could not stand without assistance. Reed refused PBT.

Haage, Brent Alan, 40 of Keokuk, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1302 hours. Haage was passed out in the men’s restroom. Haage said he drunk 7 or 8 beers. Haage had slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Haage refused PBT.

Halverson, Christopher Gary, 41 of Des Moines, IA for Public Intox and Interference w/Official Acts, Bodily Injury at 1342 hours. Halverson was denied entry into the press box at Kinnick Stadium twice. Halverson threw this tickets on the floor and walked away from officer. Officer approached Halverson and he resisted. Officer scraped his right arm. Halverson blew .108 PBT.
