Getting Real About Reducing Gun Violence (Blog)

There are lots of proposals regarding how to reduce gun violence -- background checks, banning multi-round magazines and assault weapons, increasing mental health resouces.

Of course, none stand a chance of being adopted unless they have overwhelming political support -- and often not even then.

President Obama doesn't want popular concern to "fade." But there are limits to what he can do alone.

Political support requires popular support.

Here's a proposal for keeping the subject in the spotlight.
