My husband Jim and I rode out to Scott Church Corner on American Legion Road in Iowa City today (Sunday, 6/2/2013). We saw a newish green MG sportscar, a ragtop, go by us at what would be called "slow" on American Legion Road. The driver drove at 50 mph. Now Jim and I have a friend, a good friend. I'll call him "Jeff." Jeff has an older, restored red MG sportscar. Our friend doesn't think his red MG qualifies as an MG unless it can do twice the speed of the green MG. How fast was Jeff driving on American Legion Road, given that his MG is a "real" MG? See Maria live to ride another day on American Legion Road. We rode 13.5 miles without seeing Jeff or his red MG.
