Direct Flights Start December 18 on Allegiant Air
The Eastern Iowa Airport and Allegiant Air are announcing direct service between Cedar Rapids and Punta Gorda/Ft. Meyers Florida. The service will begin on December 18 with two non-stop flights per week.Allegiant will introduce the new service with fares as low as $99.99 each way.
Punta Gorda is roughly halfway between Fort Myers and Sarasota in Southwest Florida.
It will become Allegiant’s fifth nonstop destination from Cedar Rapids, joining Las Vegas, Orlando Sanford, Phoenix-Mesa and St. Petersburg/Tampa.
