I was minding my own buisness, taking a ride on my motorcycle and the light turns red on Dubuque and Market at maybe, 7 pm on Sunday Sept.16. When all of a sudden I glanced to my right and had to take a double take. I saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, I felt as if our eyes were locked as you crossed the street. At this point you were in slow motion, (would love to learn how you did that) your blonde hair seemed to dance in the wind while complimenting you with every step, with every step the feeling that I need to atleast meet you grew stronger and stronger. I almost yelled something out to you but didn't know what to say without sounding like a complete moron. In my head I thought nope out of your league dude, but as I finished that thought, you were at the end of the walk way with no intention of looking to see where you were, the toe of your boot caught a crack or a lip on the concrete and you almost took a huge fall, which felt like a sign, tell me thats not something.The red light switched to green Market is a one way and I had no way of turning around to meet you.

Comedic Costars Wanted for Iowa City Podcast

Adult humored Iowa City Podcast

I'm looking for a group of people that would be interested in starting a podcast based out of Iowa City from scratch. I'm thinking we need a few comedic costars. Adult humored podcast that discusses what is happening in Iowa City. We can have people sign up to be guests in the studio. Students and what not. Would need people interested in recording at least one hour long episode a week. 

A Rant Against Iowa City Homeless, From a Former IC Homeless Person

I was homeless in iowa city. Now I am not. 

when I was "house-less" I did ask for spare change on rare occasions, some were happy to help, others not so much. I ate at free lunch sometimes but I did not really like to unless I truly needed it. I would get itchin to travel and hitchhike to...wherever, for that thing. Many of the people I met during that time in my life were the most genuine and truly alive folks that I have ever met. Some of the people I met were in need of more mental help than I or any group of friends could give. Some of the people I met are still very good friends. 

None of the people I met stood on the street corner with a sign asking for handouts day in and day out, NONE. I have no idea how this got started but it irritates me and I do not help folks who stand and ask for handouts all day everyday, thats a job. if you can do that you can do something else, go find cans or something.

• Here's a lost Chicago Bulls tisa hat that appears to be a crappy knockoff but is actually worth a fair amount of money? That's what I gather from the description, anyway.
