At a forum at Shimek Elementary School, some parents said the vote feels rushed and they might not have the necessary information before the February vote.

“I feel as if there’s additional information we’re not being told,” said Laurie Nash, who has two students at Hoover Elementary School. “By the time we hear things, it seems like the decision has already been made. It feels as though the opportunity for comment is too late.”
