This week's Party in the Park will be held at Mercer Park, 2701 Bradford Drive, on Thursday, July 11 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Events will include games, arts and crafts for the whole family, ice cream, and live music by Deb Singer, who will combine music and movement in her performance. The event is open to the public, and there is no fee to participate.
Party in the Park is sponsored by the City's Parks and Recreation Department and Neighborhood Services Division. Throughout the summer, a party is held each Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in a different Iowa City park. Take the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy the season with friends and family while exploring the City's many beautiful parks and facilities.
