(VIDEO) Iowa City Public Library Recommends That you Add a Little King Arthur to Your Life

Every Friday we will be featuring some Staff Picks from the Iowa City Public Library that you can check out on the weekend. This week's recommendation: "The Once and Future King" by T.H. White. Also we have a links to their new releases.

 

Nothing is better than having a good book or movie to look forward to for your weekend. This week we spoke with Candice Smith, reference librarian at the , for her recommendation for a book you should check out.

This week Smith speaks about the book "The Once and Future King" a take on the King Arthur legend written in the first part of the 20th century by writer T.H. White. Smith said that although the book is a pre World War Two take on an agent English legend, it still reads well as a contemporary tale.
