(Video) Meet Mai Tai the Briefly Timid Tortie, Iowa City Patch's Adopt this Pet of the Week (Adopted)

Each week Iowa City Patch introduces a new animal that needs a good home from the Iowa City animal shelter. This week meet Mai Tai, a young pretty tortie cat who is sweet once you get passed her shyness.

This week, Linda Mutchler, volunteer and resident cat room expert at the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to Mai Tai, a pretty young tortie that hides a sweet and playful disposition behind her shy exterior. Once she gets to know you, Mutchler said Mai Tai would be a good fit for virtually any home, except possibly families with very young children, who could potentially startle her.

For more information on adopting Mai Tai, you can call the Animal Shelter at: (319) 356-5295. Or visit the shelter at 4852 Sand Rd SE.
