Meet Crash, a Cute Ball of Cat Saved by a Good Samaritan (Who Crashed Along the Way)

In this week's adopt a pet of the week we feature a young cat who was saved by a Good Samaritan in Iowa City but who suffered an unfortunate accident along the way. But everything worked out in the end.

This week we introduce you to Crash the cat.

Crash is a young and playful cat who was brought in by an Iowa City citizen who had been feeding him near his home. When the man was finally able to lure crash into a carrier, he was on the way to the shelter when he got into a car crash, sending him to the hospital and Crash, bruised and unidentified, to the shelter.

Although the shelter initially thought that Crash belonged to the man in the accident, it was later cleared up, once the man was released and recovering from his injuries, that Crash actually had been a stray that he had been bringing to the shelter all along. Now that Crash, too, has healed from his bumps and bruises, he is now available for adoption at the Iowa City Animal Shelter.

For more information on adopting Crash you can call the Animal Shelter at: (319) 356-5295. Or visit the shelter at 4852 Sand Rd SE.
