Meet Butters, the Curious Tabby Cat, Iowa City Patch's Adopt this Pet of the Week

Each week Iowa City Patch features a new animal from the Iowa City Animal Shelter that is need of a good home. This week meet Butters, a friendly tabby cat who likes to explore.

This week, Linda Mutchler, volunteer and resident cat room expert at the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to Butters, a young orange tabby that has an independent streak, but is friendly enough to be a lap cat and mostly just likes exploring. Mutchler said Butters would be an excellent fit for any family, and even seems to not mind young children, which is not true of many cats.

For more information on adopting the Butters, you can call the Animal Shelter at: (319) 356-5295. Or visit the shelter at 4852 Sand Rd SE.
