Meet Bella, an 11-Year-Old Adorable Pomeranian Mix with Spunk: Iowa City Adopt this Pet of the Week (Adopted)

Iowa City Patch regularly features local animals from the local shelter who are in need of a good home. This week we feature Bella the Pomeranian mix.

Chad Mason, animal services assistant at the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to Bella the Pomeranian.

Mason says that Bella was a past tenant of the Iowa City Animal Shelter who was returned recently after her current owner became sick enough to require hospitilization and could no longer care for her. He said that Bella is an older dog at 11-years-old, but she still is peppy and energetic and loves to play fetch. As an older dog, she also is a great fit for several different living situations and doesn't have the behavorial learning curve that many young dogs have.
