Anyway, back to the point of the story. Lumosity is a San Francisco company that specializes in creating brain tests and games. For the second year in a row, they have released a study on the smartest cities in America based on the results from the more than 3 million people who have used their products; and Iowa City-- and Ames- scored among the tops in the nation. You can read the results of the study here, including the fact that Iowa Citians apparently had the highest core score.

** I find it important to mention that this section was intended as satire and I think it's really great that two Iowa cities are in the top five, and the Des Moines-Ames and Iowa City-Cedar Rapids metro areas rank highly as well. You would think this would be obvious by the additional "Whoo!" I added in my juvenile fake taunting of the home of Iowa State, but then again, you can never be too careful.
