Iowa City Animal Shelter Offers Half Price Adoption for Older Pets Through November
The animal shelter is trying to find some of its older animal companions some good families.

The Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center is trying to find new friends for its old friends -- and so they're offering an adoption special for older pets. Adopt a cat, dog, or other pet aged five years or older from the center anytime during the month of November and you'll receive a 50% adoption fee discount.
The adoption fee covers all pre-adoptive medical care, including spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and disease screening, as well as microchip identification.
The Animal Center is located south of Iowa City at 4852 Sand Road SE. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call 319.356.5295.
