The City of Iowa City will offer free parking in each of the City's five parking ramps Thursday, July 18 through Monday, July 22. This coincides with the annual Downtown Iowa City Sidewalk Sales.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, parking will be free in the following ramps:
• Capitol Street (adjacent to Old Capitol Mall)
• Chauncey Swan
• Court Street Transportation Center
• Dubuque Street (adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel)
• Tower Place (on Iowa Avenue)
Due to the Saturday morning Farmers Market and the Friday and Saturday Night Concert Series, parking will be limited on the first floor of the Chauncey Swan parking ramp Friday evening and all day Saturday.
