Artists are painting downtown Iowa City's benches once again this summer.
The project is known as BenchMarks 2.0.
The benches were painted as part of University of Iowa Community Credit Union's BenchMarks project last year, but then they were stripped and sanded.
Now they are being repainted. Different themes mark different sections of downtown Iowa City.
