Under immediate direction and supervision, performs routine clerical duties while providing general information to the public regarding policies and services. Essential job duties will include answering the telephone; directing calls, questions and requests to appropriate parties; operating standard office equipment and the filing of documents. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum education, experience and certification

High school diploma or equivalent required. Requires six months of general office/clerical experience and familiarity with standard office equipment, including PC with Microsoft software.

 

City of Iowa City application must be received by 5PM, Thursday, May 8, 2014, in Human Resources, 410 E. Washington Street, Iowa City, IA 52240.
