DESCRIPTION:January 25 &ndash\; February 17\, 2013\nBy William Missouri D
ownsDirected by Ron Clark\nA theatrical romp into the circus of the soul
.&nbsp\;\nInspired by a story that news reporters in Melbourne\, Austral
ia called &lsquo\;miraculous&rsquo\;\, an infant in a baby carriage fal
ling under a commuter train and surviving with only a scratch to the he
ad\, playwright William Missouri Downs began to question luck in a meta
physical context\, writing what he calls a &ldquo\;philosophical comedy
&rdquo\;.\nIn the play\, Professor Dick Fig is suddenly fired from his u
ntenured position.&nbsp\; Being forced to endure a tedious exit intervi
ew with Eunice\, the idealistic and religious human resources administr
ator\, is only the beginning of Dick Fig&rsquo\;s troubles.&nbsp\; An e
mergency alert system has just announced that a masked gunman is roamin
g their college campus and is quickly approaching the building where th
e exit interview is unraveling.\nBecause Eunice&rsquo\;s room is situate
 d across from the cheer captain&rsquo\;s office\, unexpected\, rambunct
ious cheerleaders appear throughout the show\, providing ample comic re
lief in the play.&nbsp\; Peppered by short sketches of flash backs\, mo
ck commercials\, odd conversations and other comedic jewels\, the play
stays excitingly thought-provoking.&nbsp\; Theatrical &nbsp\;effects su
ch as projection\, rock music and lights keep you at the edge of your s
eat. And if that isn&rsquo\;t enough fun\, six actors play 26 wildly di
 fferent characters.&nbsp\; This is a show you&rsquo\;ll remember.\nTicke
