Fridays from 2-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm for only $5/hour you can use the Bike Library’s tools, books, and equipment to tune-up or repair your bike.
Note: understand that rent-a-bench patrons are responsible for all work done on their bikes. If you are looking for someone to repair your bicycle, there are many local bike shops to choose from. Including: 30th Century Bicycles, Geoff's Bike and Ski, The Broken Spoke, World of Bikes.

The Iowa City Bike Library is a community shop which offers local bicycle riders opportunities to rent bikes, maintain their bikes using Iowa City Bike Library's tools and resources, and donate parts and accessories. Iowa City Bike Library additionally offers free maintenance and minor repairs, and hosts bike events such as mechanics' night, free breakfast, salvage night and more.
