Bekah Ash is a contemporary painter who creates portraits in oil on canvas. A University of Iowa graduate with a BA in Studio Art and Honors in Art Education, she has been an art educator for the past ten years and enjoys teaching her students at Weber Elementary. Her artwork is part of the permanent collections at Iowa State and William Penn Universities. Highly collectible, Bekah’s paintings are shown in galleries across the Midwest, including here in her hometown of Iowa City. She has participated in Denver’s famed Cherry Creek Festival in 2012 and was the “Featured Artist” at the Plaza Art Show in 2009. Bekah’s fresh, iconic work has been published in several textbooks and design publications, including Hallmark™ greeting cards.
