(VIDEO) This Week the Iowa City Public Library Recommends: Some Books from C.J. Box
Every Friday we will be featuring some Staff Picks from the Iowa City Public Library that you can check out on the weekend.
Nothing is better than having a good book or movie to look forward to for your weekend, at least that's what I think. With the aid of Kara Logsden, Community Services Coordinator at Iowa City Public Library, here are a few suggestions for books you can check out in person or on the E-Reader of your choice.
This week Logsden recommends a few books from the author C.J. Box, and has a humorous anecdote about his beginning stages as a writer.
You can learn more about these and other staff picks at the Iowa City library by visiting their Staff Picks blog. For some other book suggestions, check out the suggestions in our Eastern Iowa Patch Book Club discussion.
Happy reading and have a great weekend.

I really like Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce murder mysteries. Also, "When Scotland was Jewish," by Elizabeth Caldwell Hirschmann and Donald N. Yates.

Thanks, Maria. Flavia is quite a character. I especially enjoy listening to the Alan Bradley mysteries. I'll have to check out the book you suggest. Thanks!
