VIDEO: Meet June Bug the Playful Pit Bull Terrier (Adopted)
Each week we introduce you to a new animal from the Iowa City Animal Shelter that needs a good home. This week meet Junebug, a friendly active young pit bull.
Liz Ford, animal care technician at the Iowa City Animal Shelter, introduces us to June Bug. Ford says June Bug is a friendly young pit bull that would be a perfect fit for an active owner, including families with children above the age of six. She says June Bug has already received training while at the shelter and she has a good sit and an even better down.
For more information on adopting June Bug, you can call the Animal Shelter at: (319) 356-5295. Or visit the shelter at 4852 Sand Rd SE.

| Comments | June Bug hasn't met a stranger yet - she loves people. She's happy, very energetic, active, and playful. June Bug likes all kinds of toys and fetches readily. She is very smart (knows sit already) and would make an excellent candidate for agility, flyball, rally, or other dog sports. June Bug is tolerant of handling but does get very nervous if she is reprimanded. She likes to exercise and cuddle on the couch with you too. |
Correction: Corrected a mispelling.
