The following individuals were arrested during football game day operations:
Knapp, James Curtis, 72 of Iowa City, IA for Disorderly Conduct, Interference with Official Acts and Assault on Peace Officers & Others at Kinnick Stadium at 1025 hours. Knapp was asked to leave the stadium by officers. Knapp refused to follow commands by officers. Knapp continued to yell and used profanity while in the presence of the public. Knapp attempted to escape from the holding cell and kicked a deputy sheriff. On September 24, 2011 at Kinnick Stadium Knapp was arrested for Assault on Peace Officers & Others, Interference with Official Acts and Criminal Trespass.
Wierson, Grant Thomas, 18 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox and Paula at Kinnick Stadium at 1103 hours. Wierson had 6 cans of beer and a flask full of vodka in his pockets. Wierson had slurred speech and admitted drinking a couple of beers. Wierson refused PBT.
Sbarbaro, Gina Leigh, 19 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1143 hours. Sbarbaro was found on the women’s bathroom floor. Sbarbaro had slurred speech and poor balance. Sbarbaro stated she had “more than she ever has”. Sbarbaro refused PBT.
Neltson, Timothy Kniel, 31 of Ankeny, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1200 hours. Fans reported Neltson was very intoxicated. Nelson had poor balance and soiled his pants. Nelson refused PBT.
Grier, Mary Jane, 22 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1226 hours. Grier had problems standing and was using the wall for support. Grier had slurred speech, and at times hard to understand. Grier refused PBT.
Wurz, Donald Erich, 51 of Naperville, IL for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1443 hours. Wurz was asked to leave the stadium and he refused. Wurz had slurred speech and poor balance. Wurz admitted drinking rum. Wurz refused PBT.
Weggeman, Peter A, 54 of Naperville, IL for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1443 hours. Weggeman refused to leave Kinnick and told security to “f*** off.” Weggeman admitted drinking Rum. Weggeman refused PBT.
Wiegand, Christopher M, 52 of Naperville, IL for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1443 hours. Wiegand was asked to leave Kinnick and he refused. Wiegand had slurred speech and had a smell of alcohol on his breath. Wiegand admitted drinking. Wiegand refused PBT.
Halverson, Erik Michael, 34 of Coralville, IA for Public Intox at Elliott Drive/Hawkins Drive at 1635 hours.
