Iowa continues to benefit from being one of the true swing states left in what could be a very close election.

The Obama campaign has confirmed that this Friday, following the Democratic National Convention, President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Dr. Jill Biden will all be in Iowa City for a campaign event. This will follow a trip by all four to New Hampshire.

No word yet on where the event will be and when. As this Press-Citizen article notes, however, the visit by the president's entourage will also compete with what is looking to be a very busy Friday and following weekend in the Iowa City area.

This will be Obama's eighth trip to Iowa this year. Just last week he made stops in Ames and Urbandale.

Now if you're a conservative and you've been grinding your teeth in anger for the first three paragraphs, worry not! Iowa is so popular that you'll have a Republican option to choose from this week as well, as Paul Ryan will be in Cedar Rapids in Tuesday night and Des Moines on Wednesday.

Republicans grind their teeth in anger all the time anyway. Tyre good thing is that they can't talk when they do that.

Is Obama paying for the out of pocket costs to the taxpayers? Doubt it because he always sticks it to taxpayers
