Iowa City Public LIbrary to Be Closed Friday for Inservice Day
On Friday, December 14 the Iowa City Public Library will be closed to the public for staff to participate in Inservice Day, the Library's annual training and staff recognition day.

On Friday, December 14, 2012, the Iowa City Public Library will be closed to the public for staff to participate in Inservice Day, the Library's annual training and staff recognition day.
Thirteen Library staff members will be recognized for their years of service ranging from five years to 35 years at the Library.
This year's theme is "Beyond Access," featuring speakers on a variety of topics like "Libraries in the Age of Information Ubiquity," "City of Literature - What's the Story," "Success With Teens," "Genealogy Basics," "Blogging Engagingly," "The Iowa City Downtown District at Work," and "Customer Service Excellence."
Eli Neiburger, Associate Director, IT and Production, Ann Arbor (Michigan) District Library, is the keynote speaker.
The Library will resume regular hours on Saturday, December 15, 2012.
