Iowa City Eels Swim Club (ICE) members had an outstanding showing at the ISI Summer Long Course State Championship meet July 26–29 in Iowa City. ICE state champions include Boys 8-and-under relay team (both Free and Medley): Bill Chen, Andy Luo, Henry Schoon and Boyd Skelley. Boyd also won 100 Free, 50 Back and 50 Fly. In Boys 11–12, Leo Xiao won 50 Breast, 100 Breast, 200 Breast and 200 Individual Medley (IM). Leo also set new state records in 50, 100 and 200 Breast. Alex Walton won Men’s 100 Back. Overall, Boyd won the first place in high points, while Averi Loria won the third place in high points. The meet, hosted by the Cedar Rapids Aquatic Association, was held at the University of Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
